Please make sure you have collected at least 20 boxes* of empty ink or toners before scheduling a pickup. This helps us keep our carbon footprint smaller by making fewer trips across town during the week. Please take a peek at how to package empties so that they make it to us in the best condition possible (the better the condition, the higher the value!)
* If you have fewer than 20 cartridges and need to have them disposed of immediately, please contact us to set something up. If you have a pick up for large quantities (100+ cartridges or pallets) please contact us directly so that we can make arrangements for a freight transfer.
Ship Them to Us
If you are T3 customer outside the Sacramento area with under 100 empty units and you still want to save cartridges from a lifetime in a landfill, here's what you do...
•
Please collect at least 10 toners or inkjets at a time and "bundle" them together for shipping. Please see our example of how to package empties to explain. Then contact us and let us know how many "bundles" you have, what brand they are and the item numbers.

We will then email or mail you pre-paid UPS labels
If you are a T3 Customer and you have over 100 empty units...
•
T3 Toner will pay for all freight costs for quantities of 100 or more virgin OEM (original equipment manufacture or "name brand") empty units. Virgin units are units that are purchased new and used only once – not remanufactured or damaged units.

When you are ready to have the product picked up and shipped, give us a ring and representative will fax you the appropriate Bill of Lading and shipping labels to attach to the freight either on a pallet in boxes. We will then send a freight carrier to pick up the shipment usually that day or the next day at the latest.
If you are not a T3 customer but you still want to save cartridges from a lifetime in a landfill, you can ship them to us! Here are the options available:
•
Collect at least 20 ink and/or toner cartridges that are listed with a value on our Empty Buyback List, then we will send you a pre-paid UPS label to get them to us.
•
If you do not have at least 20 units that are on the Buy Back List you can ship them to us for recycling via UPS at your expense.
•
If you have SOME empties that have a value, but don't quite hit that 20 unit mark, then you can contact us to send you UPS tags. We will deduct the cost of freight from the value of the empties in the shipment. Custom shipping options are also available, we don't want any cartridges feeling left out.
Drop them off:
Our warehouse drop off hours are 8:00 am - 3:00 pm, Monday through Friday. You can swing by our facility and leave those nuggets of recycling goodness with us any time during those hours. Please call in advance so we can greet you at the door.
